Our main mission is to guide our clients towards exponential growth by creating weekly, monthly, and yearly goals. By working as a third-party Full-Service Hospitality Group, we offer everything that in-house doesn’t – which allows room for delegation, specified roles, and the opportunity for optimization.

TRAVIS LESTER

CEO

Has been involved in the restaurant industry for his entire life. Growing up, his family owned multiple restaurants in the San Diego area. He received his initial training in family- owned restaurants, until he left for college. Travis graduated from Pittsburg State, Kansas with a Business degree.

He returned to Los Angeles and began to work side-by-side with owners of numerous restaurants throughout Los Angeles. After years of hands-on experience and expanding the sales, Travis developed a passion for the business side of restaurants. His innovative ideas paired with his hands-on management skills have led to much success every step of the way. Travis is a perfectionist and will not stop short of excellence. He also believes that each separate unit leads to one common purpose, the success of LFG.

ALEXANDRA SMITH

MARKETING DIRECTOR

Alexandra combined her passion for creativity, content development, and social media, which formed the role as the marketing director for LFG. Discovering a newfound admiration for partnering up with restaurants and establishments all throughout San Diego, to guide each brand to maximize their potential, online presence and social media exposure.

Having been in this industry for over 10 years, Alexandra had to discover her own core beliefs and values when it comes to business, managing a team, and guiding clients towards the path to success. The sole purpose being to partner with new, existing, or lost restaurants, to ignite the spark, hunger, and desire throughout their team to take social media and marketing to the highest level. With the main objective, to compete at the highest caliber with other existing brands that are making noise throughout the industry.

Valerie Cervantes

EXECUTIVE CHEF

Chef Valerie Cervantes came from humble beginnings out of La Habra, CA. Being around family carne asadas every Sunday her love for Mexican cuisine is deeply rooted in her mom and dad. She initially went to school for Radiology, but found her voice in the kitchen. She attended Cypress Community College and earned her degrees in Baking/Pastry & Culinary Arts.

 

After working in the professional culinary world for a decade, Chef Valerie quit her full-time corporate kitchen job in 2019 to pursue her business as a private chef. She named her business Leopard is a Pineapple. From starting brunch at a local coffee shop in Redlands, Ca, to doing charcuterie pop-ups at a wine shop in Yucaipa, Ca, to an empanada pop-up at Chihuahua Cerveza in Newport Beach, Ca, her hustle did not stop there.

Inspired by her childhood trips to Mexico she took a pilgrimage to Mexico City, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato, and her dad’s hometown, Jalostitlán. There she immersed herself with the people and the cuisine. While in Tequila country she learned the heart of the agave plant is called a Piña and instantly made a special connection with her brand-Leopard Is A Pineapple.

Chef Valerie partnered up with her cousin Travis Lester to opened up Piña in Encinitas, Ca. She brings a bright flare with flavors inspired by Mexico to every dish.
